Channels our sensing
And acts as the pathway
To attachment or aversion
Thinking
Processes thoughts and feelings
Directing our sensing
With ignorance or attention
Knowing
Recognizes the quality of actions
Guiding our choices
Of reason or instinct
Dreaming
Merges past and future
Building metaphors of meanings
Which characterize our spirit
Loving
Manages hopes and fears
Nurturing wisdom
And perception of oneness
Our pathway to Spirit
Spirit
Is awareness of God in ourselves
